Holiday Weekend

Turkey, prime rib, asparagus, and pumpkin pie are a few of the yummy foods that I enjoyed Thanksgiving Day. Terran and I spent a delightful day at his parent's house. I spent the afternoon working on a quilt with Tamara, which is awlays enjoyable, made only more so by time spent together and the gentle chatter of family in the background (if you count the boys shooting nazi's on the computer gentle chatter).

Terran and I then got full swing in with the Christmas spirit ; we spent Saturday shopping for our families and Sunday decorating our house. We went this year to a tree farm and cut our own tree. It was so fun to tramp around in the cold to find the perfect tree and to hear all the other families around us. I sang Christmas carols all day long.

Things I'm Thankful For:

1: Terran, my most wonderful husband, who will always get up after we've gone to bed to get the extra blanket for me

2: Our families

3: Our home, I'm so glad that we don't just have a house, but a home

4: The ability to read, my world would be so empty without books

5: Kojo and Kaia, two stinkerish puppies that love me no matter what
