we thought this big, beautiful watermelon was ready when picked it, but it turned out a little pink instead of red inside. Still, we were impressed with the size and will wait longer on the other five in the garden. (Do you like how dirty my legs are from the day spent fishing?)

I am SO jealous! Watermelon is my absolute favourite fruit. I don't think we can grow them here (I've seen the seeds at Wal-Mart but I'm still skeptical)
